handmade

I wish more people realized how their clothes is produced! All of those huge companies are outsourced to poor countries. They pay their workers nothing. Those companies outsource because they want to make a bigger profit. Not to help out the people in those countries, to exploit them. You would think because it cost them almost no money to produce it would be cheaper, but no it is just as expensive!
They hire unqualified workers to make all the clothes. Sometimes it is extremely obvious how terrible the clothes is made.
Don't give your money to these huge companies who don't care about their workers, customers, or the quality of their products!
Support independent shops who care about human rights, their customers, and quality of their product.
By purchasing independent and handmade products you are supporting honest hard working people.By buying USA made products you can be sure that no one is underpaid in bad working conditions
I have been making clothes for a while now. I had been waiting to sell my clothes because i did not have a serger. Last year I bought one! It was great. I started selling stuff to my friends and kids around town. The main way i communicate with them is through myspace. I finally opened a etsy shop and started out selling some awesome vintage clothes I have been collecting for the longest time! I still have tons of vintage items i haven't even posted up!
I think it is so difficult to become well known through the internet! Well i guess i think that because i am just starting out. i have so many other things in my life right now that are important. I am a college student, i have a son and i am trying to sell my clothes. It feels so difficult because everything intertwines sometimes.
i have been trying to make more things this summer since i have more free time. I am only taking one summer class. I wish i had more time! I want to make so many things! I hope to make more things soon! <3
